User Acceptance Testing (UAT-3) for IT 2.0 Solution
Introduction
The Department of Posts (DoP) has scheduled the third round of User Acceptance Testing (UAT-3) for the IT 2.0 Solution. This round of testing will take place between 10th March 2025 and 22nd March 2025, involving multiple divisions and functional teams.
Background
This UAT-3 session is being conducted as per the Record of Discussions (ROD) of the PMG Meeting held on 18th February 2025 and follows the instructions provided in the DoP's letter No. Tgy-06/4/2023-Technology-DOP dated 18th February 2025. The testing is aimed at ensuring the effective implementation and functionality of the IT 2.0 Solution before full deployment.
UAT-3 Team Composition
The UAT teams have been categorized into two groups for structured testing:
Group-1
Participating Divisions:
Parcel Directorate
IR & GB Division
Mails Operations Division
PO Division
Testing Schedule:
Group-1 will report to CEPT Mysuru from 10th March 2025 to 22nd March 2025.
Group-2
Participating Divisions:
Personnel Division
Philately Division
CS Division
Establishment Division
Accounting/PAF Wing
Business Development Directorate
Army Postal Services (APS)
Testing Schedule:
Online UAT will be conducted from 10th March 2025 onwards.
The team will report to CEPT Mysuru from 17th March to 22nd March 2025 for further evaluation.
Testing and Integration Approach
UAT Implementation: The nominated functional divisions and UAT teams will conduct testing as per the prescribed schedules.
Support from CEPT: CEPT Mysuru will provide detailed documentation on the UAT approach, including necessary access and guidelines for testing.
Integration Testing: UAT for integration processes, including POSB, PLI, IPPB, and CSC, will be conducted post-integration and after accounting tests have been successfully completed.
Approval and Notifications
This memorandum has been issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
Conclusion
The UAT-3 for IT 2.0 Solution is a crucial phase in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the new system. All nominated teams are expected to adhere to the prescribed schedule and work in close coordination with CEPT Mysuru to facilitate smooth and effective testing.
