Policy on Membership Withdrawal and Transfer Between Associations
In reference to the directive issued on January 21, 2025, the process of withdrawing from and joining associations has been outlined for all concerned members. The following points clarify the necessary steps and conditions:
Membership Withdrawal:
Joining a New Association:
Any member who withdraws from one association is permitted to join another.
However, a fresh declaration for membership and salary deduction authorization must be submitted.
The deduction of membership fees for the new association will only be processed in April, aligning with the designated time frame for such transactions.
Salary Deductions and Policy Compliance:
The Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) are authorized to process membership deductions only in the month of April.
No deductions will be made from a member’s salary in favor of any association during the interim period between withdrawal and joining a new association.
Supersession of Previous Communications:
This directive nullifies and supersedes all previous instructions or communications regarding membership withdrawal and deductions.
All concerned individuals and authorities are advised to adhere strictly to the revised policy.
This policy ensures transparency and uniformity in handling membership transitions while maintaining administrative efficiency.
