The much-anticipated GDS Online Schedule - 1, January 2025 went live across India today, marking a significant milestone in the recruitment process. The launch has been smooth, with various key activities completed successfully.
Key Activities Accomplished:
- New Board Requests Added: Requests received from different Circles for new boards have been incorporated into the system.
- Vacancy Capture Completed: A total of 21,451 vacancies have been successfully captured, ensuring comprehensive coverage of open positions.
- Application Submission Issues Resolved: A session-related issue that was affecting application submissions has been promptly addressed and resolved.
- Performance Optimization: The system underwent fine-tuning to efficiently handle a high volume of concurrent users, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Document Verification Enhancement: Document verification will now be conducted exclusively within the Vacancy Division, streamlining the process.
- Annexure 10 Upload Option Introduced: A new feature has been added to the DV module, allowing candidates to upload Annexure 10, which pertains to the consent of Digi Locker.
Performance Snapshot (as of 17:45 hours):
- 75,000 Registrations completed
- 50,000 Candidates successfully applied
- 12,500 Online fee payments processed
The application functionality has been assessed and is performing satisfactorily, efficiently handling the heavy user traffic. Moreover, all modifications suggested by the Directorate (Dte) have been implemented well within the stipulated timeframe.
