CRM Rollout in DoP IT 2.0
CRM Rollout in DoP IT 2.0 – Updates and User Access Management
As part of the CRM rollout in DoP IT 2.0, Divisional Heads (DHs) are authorized to assign roles and make user-related changes in the training environment. This initiative aims to streamline user access and role management effectively.
Accessing the Training Environment
All DoP employees can access the CRM training environment using:
User ID: Employee ID
Default Password: "xxxx"
Mandatory Password Change: Users must change their password upon first login.
Identity and Access Management Roles
Currently, all Divisional Heads, Regions, and Circles have been granted the Identity and Access Management Authority Role, allowing them to perform the following functions:
1. Office Change
If a user’s office details or designation are incorrect, modifications can be made. It is recommended to search using the Facility ID. For SOs, HOs, Sub Divisions, and Divisions, a division-wise dropdown filtering option is available.
2. Mobile Number Update
If a user is not receiving SMS OTPs while resetting their password, the mobile number can be updated accordingly.
3. User Enablement
In case a user encounters an "Invalid User ID or Password" error even after resetting their password, this function can be used to re-enable the account.
4. Role Assignment
If a user experiences a blank screen after login or a "401 Unauthorized" error, the required roles need to be assigned to them.
5. Officiating Arrangement
For employees on deputation or holding an additional charge, the officiating arrangement can be configured as follows:
Within Division – Managed by the Division
Within Region – Managed by the Region
Within Circle – Managed by the Circle
Inter-Circle – Managed by CEPT
Important Note
If a mobile number is updated, users can reset their password using the "Forgot/Reset Password" link available on the login page.
This structured approach ensures a seamless CRM training experience for DoP employees while providing the necessary administrative control to manage identity and access efficiently.
