Key Changes in POS 5.1 Version

Weight Limit for Letters:
Consolidation of Postal Categories:
Book Packets, Printed Books, and Sample Packets have been merged into a single category known as Book Post.
Book Packets containing periodicals are now renamed as Periodical Post.
Renaming of Parcel Services:
Business Parcel is now termed India Post Parcel Contractual.
Registered Parcel is renamed as India Post Parcel Retail.
Cash on Delivery (COD) Services:
VPP (Value Payable Parcel) is now called COD Retail.
VPMO (Value Payable Money Order) is renamed as CODMO.
Enhanced Financial Limits:
The limit for Electronic Money Order (EMO) has been increased to ₹10,000/-.
IPO Denominations Revised:
The denominations for Indian Postal Orders (IPO) have been revised to ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, and ₹100.
Introduction of Registered Postcard:
A new service called Registered Postcard has been introduced to provide additional mailing options.
