Highlights of the Transfer Cycle
1. Portal Opening for Applications:
- The online portal will open on 5th December 2024,
allowing GDS applicants to register and submit their transfer requests.
- Applicants can modify their preferences during a one-time window on 13th and 14th December 2024.
2. Verification
and Approval:
- Divisions will verify applications between 16th and 19th December 2024.
- Approved transfer lists will be published online by
26th December 2024.
3. Joining
New Posts:
- Relieved GDS employees must join their new posts by
11th January 2025.
Administrative Provisions
- Decision-Making:
Non-policy-related decisions will be handled by the Head of Region or Head of Circle based on previously issued instructions. - Technical
Assistance:
Any technical challenges will be resolved in consultation with CEPT to ensure a seamless portal experience.
Instructions for Circles
Circles must strictly adhere to the time schedule and guidelines issued in the Office Memorandum dated 10.10.2024. Divisions are expected to ensure that the entire process runs smoothly and fairly, keeping in mind the needs of the GDS community.
