This refers to the Office Memorandum of even number dated 05.12.2024, regarding the common processing of Speed Post and Registered articles. In response to queries and requests for clarification received from various Circles and stakeholders, the detailed bag closing pattern has been elaborated and attached as Annexure-A for necessary action.
Key Instructions:
The bag closing pattern has been categorized for:
- Domestic Articles: Including NSH, ICHs, and hubs (Inter and Intra Circle processing).
- International Outbound Articles: As per IR & GB Division O.M. dated 22.06.2023.
Color-Coded Labels:
- Orange Labels for Speed Post, Registered articles, and EMS (International).
- Green Labels for Registered Packets (domestic), as specified.
The instructions ensure clarity for:
- Post Offices mapped with NSH or ICHs.
- Handling of Inter and Intra Circle mail between hubs.
- International outbound mail processes, ensuring proper segregation and faster transmission.
These instructions are to be communicated to all concerned operational units for implementation.
