Sub: Delivery of letter of Hon'ble Minister of Culture & Tourism to Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Member of Legislative Assembly & celebrities on the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign — 2024
This is in reference to the video conference held on 09.08.2024, chaired by the Secretary (Posts), regarding the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign — 2024.
2. As mentioned during the VC, the Hon'ble Minister of Culture & Tourism will send letters to Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assemblies, and celebrities for the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign — 2024.
3. It is requested that special arrangements be made for the delivery of these letters. Delhi Circle will handle the booking and dispatch of these letters to all circles using special bags. Please observe the following procedures for booking, dispatching, and delivering the letters:
i. Delhi Circle will collect the letters from the Office of the Minister of Culture & Tourism.
ii. All the letters pertaining to respective circle will be kept in an envelope and will be dispatched to Circle concerned through special bag addressed to DPS (HQ) /DPS (M&BD).
iii. Delhi Circle shall ensure that the bags containing these letters will be dispatched promptly to reach the respective HQ of the circle by the fastest mode of transportation. Delhi Circle will make direct bags for the North Eastern State/ Port Blair and State of Goa.
IV. Delhi Circle will share the details of bag dispatch to the respective circles through email and also through whatsapp to respective DPS(HQ)/DPS(Mail&BD).
V. Delhi Circle will ensure that bags are loaded onto the next available flight /RTN etc. to reach the destination at the earliest.
Vi. The destination circle will coordinate with the airlines/mail agency and promptly receive the bags.
Vii. Circles will make special arrangements for the open delivery of the letters.
Viii. Letter will be taken out from the envelope and should be delivered in open condition to Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assemblies, and celebrities along with a good quality National Flag. Designated officials such as DHs, SDHs, ASPs, IPs, and PRis may be assigned to presented this to the dignitaries.
IX. Circles are requested to arrange to take photos of these delivery of letter and presentation of the national flag.
X. These photos/videos may be posted on social media handles of the circles with the #HarGharTiranga & HIndiaPost4Tiranga tagging the relevant handles in addition to India Post. These photos/videos may also be shared with the marketing division of the Directorate.
Xi. Delivery details should be shared with the MO _ Division at qmcdirectorate@gmail.com.
4. Further, for the Har Ghar Tirana - 2024 campaign, the following should also be ensured:-
5. Availability of national flag may be ensured for sale at all local post offices. This will facilitate easy access for the public to purchase the flag and participate in the campaign.
Homes of local leaders, achievers, and celebrities in every village and panchayat may be visited and a flag may be presented to them. Their active participation is crucial to inspire the community.
Pictures with these leaders, achievers, and celebrities with the national flag may be taken and posted on social media platforms with #HarGharTiranga = &
#indiaPost4Tiranga tagging the relevant handles in addition to India Post. These pictures and videos may also be shared with the marketing division of the directorate. This will help in creating a ripple effect, encouraging more citizens to participate in the campaign .
All circles are requested to prioritize the delivery of these articles and ensure the activities as mentioned in Para 4 above.
