Results of LDCE for MTS to PM/MG of Westbengal Circle.
The Office of the Chief Postmaster General, West Bengal Circle, Kolkata, has released the results of the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) for the promotion of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) to the post of Postman/Mailguard (PM/MG) for the vacancy year 2023. - Candidates with pending vigilance or disciplinary cases are ineligible for appointment, and any such cases must be reported back to the Circle Office.
Appointment and Joining Instructions:
- Selected candidates are required to submit their written acceptance or refusal to join the Mailguard cadre within three days from the publication of the results.
- The appointing authorities are instructed to complete all pre-appointment formalities as per the relevant rules and instructions.
- Candidates who do not join within seven days (excluding those on approved leave) will be deemed to have refused the promotion.

- The Divisional Heads are directed to issue promotion orders to successful candidates by 5th July 2024.
- Refusal letters from candidates who decline the promotion must be forwarded to the Regional Office by 11th July 2024, and subsequently to the Circle Office.
