Winners Announced for Dhai Akhar National Level Letter Writing Campaign 2023-24

The Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has announced the results of the Dhai Akhar National Level Letter Writing Campaign for the fiscal year 2023-24. This campaign, conducted on the theme "Digital India for New India," saw enthusiastic participation from across the country.

Entries were received from all postal circles, showcasing creativity and thoughtful expressions on the theme. After careful evaluation by the Evaluation Committee at the Directorate level, winners have been selected in four categories: Envelope Category (Above 18 Years), Envelope Category (Up to 18 Years), Inland Letter Card (ILC) Category (Above 18 Years), and ILC Category (Up to 18 Years).

Envelope Category Winners (Above 18 Years):

  1. V. Praveen Kumar from Telangana secured 1st place and a prize of ₹50,000.
  2. Karuna Arya from Delhi achieved 2nd place with a prize of ₹25,000.
  3. Sayan Chakraborty from West Bengal stood 3rd, receiving ₹10,000.

Envelope Category Winners (Up to 18 Years):

  1. Sumedha Paul from Assam clinched the 1st place with a prize of ₹50,000.
  2. Sakshi Verma from Uttar Pradesh secured 2nd place and a prize of ₹25,000.
  3. Gaurinandana A from Kerala achieved 3rd place, receiving ₹10,000.

ILC Category Winners (Above 18 Years):

  1. Rohini Purohit from Karnataka took the 1st place with a prize of ₹50,000.
  2. Satyendra Kumar from Tamil Nadu secured 2nd place and a prize of ₹25,000.
  3. Pragya Dixit from Uttar Pradesh stood 3rd, receiving ₹10,000.

ILC Category Winners (Up to 18 Years):

  1. VV. Sahanaa from Tamil Nadu secured the 1st place with a prize of ₹50,000.
  2. Shreya Dixit from Uttar Pradesh achieved 2nd place and a prize of ₹25,000.
  3. Ashmi Rudra Paul from Tripura stood 3rd, receiving ₹10,000.

The total prize money awarded amounts to ₹3,40,000 across all categories, recognizing the exemplary efforts and creativity of the winners in promoting the art of letter writing amidst the digital age.

The results have been approved by the competent authority and will be shared with all Chief Postmasters General for dissemination. Additionally, the details will be uploaded on the India Post website by the General Manager of CEPT (Mysore).

The Dhai Akhar National Level Letter Writing Campaign continues to encourage participation and creativity among people of all ages, emphasizing the enduring significance of handwritten letters in today's digital era.
