The Government of India, Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts, has issued an official order for the promotion of Shri Sanjay Sharan, a distinguished officer of the Higher Administrative Grade (HAG+) of the Indian Postal Service, Group 'A'. Effective from 01.07.2024 or upon assuming charge, Shri Sanjay Sharan will assume the Grade of Director General Postal Services in the Apex Scale, Level 17 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 2,25,000).
