• Pay Level: Level-7

• Basic Pay: Rs 44900 to Rs 142400

1. Method of Recruitment

• Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) 66.66%

• Direct Recruitment through SSC  33.34%

 

Eligibility Condition

• Age Limit on Crucial Date – Direct Recruitment: 30 Years – LDCE: 45 years

• Qualifying Service on Crucial Date: – 8 years of qualifying service including services in various grades vig. Level-4, Level-5 or Level-6.

 

Schedule of Upcoming Exam Vacancy Year-2024

• Date of Notification: 24.07.2024

• Last Date of Application: 16.08.2024

• Date of Examination: 21.09.2024 & 22.09.2024

• Time Slot: 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm

 

IPO Examination Pattern

• Examination consists of Four Papers

• Each paper shall carry 300 marks

• Total Marks: 300x4= 1200

• 150 Questions of MCQ type for Paper I, Paper II and Paper III

• 125 Questions of MCQ type for Paper IV and Noting and

Drafting for 50 Marks

 

Examination Pattern

Qualifying Marks

• Each Paper 40% for General, 33% for SC/ST

• 120 for General, 99 for SC/ST in Each Paper

• Overall minimum 45% for General, 38% for

SC/ST

• Minimum 540 for General, 456 for SC/ST
