Mysuru District Horticulture Department organizing Mysore Dasara 2023 Flower Show from 15th October 2023 to 24th October 2023 at Nishad Bhag Kuppanna Park (Karjan Park), lokaranjan mahal road, nazarbad, mysuru, karnataka, 570010. One of the focal points of Mysore Dussehra (Dasara) festival is the Phalapushpa display has begun. Dussehra Flower Show 2023-24 has been organized at Nishad Bhag Kuppanna Park. Minister H C Mahadevappa inaugurated the flower show on Sunday.

Many specialties!
This time there are many
specialties in the fruit and flower show. Mainly on the occasion of successful landing of Chandrayan 3 by ISRO , this time the ISRO Chandrayan 3 Vikram Lander has been grandly
constructed in a 20 feet high glass house with red, white roses and sevanti. It
beckons the viewer attraction.
Besides this, effigies have been installed and decorated with flowers of Goddess chamundi, Lord Ganesha, etc. Mainly all government schemes like Karnataka Shakti yojane depicting KSRTC Bus, Annabhagya Scheme & Gruhalakshmi Schemes. Similarly, India Map with world cup built in front of the glass house, which will attract people's attention.
Many dolls related to children are decorated with flowers.. A house
is built from a 7 feet thick pepper. Sponsored by Dairy Day, Ullas Agar Battis
and a private channel, many entertainment programs are organized in the
evening.
Still, in the current year,
the department has grown more than 50 thousand flower plants and the entire
Kuppanna Park has been decorated with flowers. Many varieties of flower plants
including Marigold, French Marigold, Zinnia, Dahlia, special ornamental plants
have been brought from Pune and more information is being given about the
facilities available to the farmers in departmental stores, organic stores, and
agriculture related stores.
A large number of people are
expected to arrive
An estimated 5 to 6 lakh people visited the fruit and flower show in 2022-23. Since Dussehra is being celebrated in a grand manner this time, more people are expected to come. A fruit and flower show has been organized by the District Horticulture Association to make it even more attractive.
