Please find enclosed the revised guidelines issued by the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance regarding purchase of laptops/notebooks and similar devices for eligible officers vide OM No. 03(20)/2022-E.II(A) dated 21.07.2023 in supersession to their OMs dated 20.02.2018 & 27.03.2020.
2, In this regard, the financial powers delegated to the Heads of the Circles/Sr.DDG (PAF) in respect of purchase of laptops/notebooks i.e. SI. No. 11(d) of Schedule II (A) and Sl. No. 5(d) of Schedule IT (C) may be exercised in accordance with this OM.
3. This issues with the approval of AS & FA.
