All India Association of Supervisor Cadre (Gr.B) Central Head Quarter To, The Hon’ble Director General (Posts), Dak Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi-110001.
No. AIASC CHQ-36//2022-23 Dated at Hoshiarpur HO the 17.08.2023
Ref: - (1) AIASC CHQ-25/2022-23 dated 30.06.2023
(2) DTE order No. 25-04/2012-PE-I (Vol.II) dated 10.11.2017
Respected Sir,
In continuation to this Association’s letter under reference No. 1, it is to bring to your kind notice that the NFG (Non Functional Grade) is neither a promotion nor a separate cadre and is a financial upgradation to be granted on completion of specific service conditions.
In the same line HSG-I (NFG) is also not a separate cadre and is mere a financial upgradation granted to the officials who completes the service of two years in HSG-I cadre and is not counted from 1st January done in case of promotion. Hence, the question of 235 posts of HSG-I (NFG) does not arise.
This association herewith prays your kind office to consider the following justified points as the same is already considered in case of Assistant Superintendent of Posts and Assistant Accounts Officer Cadres wherein on completion of 4 years of service, NFG is granted irrespective of number of posts as per 7th CPC for pay level 8.
Hence, it is prayed that: -
1. 10% cap for NFG may kindly be removed.
2. NFG may kindly be granted to all eligible HSG-I officials on completion of two years regular service.
With profound regards,
(NARINDER PAL)
GENERAL SECRETARY
ATASC (Gr. B)
