Who Can Open Post Office SB, RD, TD, MIS, SCSS, SSA, PPF, NSC & KVP?
SB, RD, TD & MIS Account can be opened by an Adult, Minor attained age of 10 years operated by self or guardian.
PPF, NSC & KVP by Adult Guardian on behalf of minor
SSA By one guardian in the name of a girl child < 10 yrs
SCSS Account By an individual on 60 yrs 55 to 60 yrs – on superannuation – to be opened within one month Retired personnel of Defence Service( excluding Civilian defence employees) if 50 years
