Subject: Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign on Independence Day 2022 — Directions of National Implementation Committee reg.
It has been decided by the Competent Authority
to implement the decision of National Implementation Committee on “Har Ghar
Tiranga”Campaign.
2. Accordingly, National Flag is to be hoisted on every Post Office on Independence Day, 2022 in accordance with the instructions received from Ministry of Culture on “Har Ghar Tiranga”Campaign (copy enclosed). The procurement of National Flag should only be made from GeM Portal having following specifications:-

Head Post Office (HO) 900 mm x 600 mm (35.4
inch x 23.6 inch)
Sub Post Office (SO) 27 inch x 18 inch
Branch Post Office (BO) 27 inch x 18 inch
3. The expenditure in this respect may be
incurred by Postal Circles from its Object Head OE-OC (Non-Scheme)’.
4. It is requested to kindly ensure celebration of Independence Day 2022 with hoisting of National Flag at every Post Office. Postal Staff may also motivate the neighbours and others to hoist Tiranga at their end.
5. A photographic record of National Flag
hoisted at various Post Offices may be created and a final Circle Report to be
submitted to Postal Directorate by 20th August, 2022.
