Sub: Launch of TATA Group Accidental Guard (GAG) Policy through DOP network.
The India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has partnered with India’s leading private insurers Tata AIG General Insurance Company (TAGIC) and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Corporation (BAGIC) who are currently live and have enabled us to provide General insurance products to thousands of Indian citizens through the DOP network.
2, Further to the launch of vehicle insurance & health Insurance last year, Group Accident Guard (GAG) product of TATA AIG has been rolled out by IPPB for bank Customers. Group Personal Accident Insurance protects its members against accident leading to disability or death. More details may be seen at Annexure-1.
3. The services are live in MATM for all certified (POSP) end users to start insurance sales with immediate effect. Further, this product is getting enabled for end users who are not GI- POSP certified as certification is not mandatory to sell this Product.
4. The field SOP for Group Personal Accident Policy GPA for TATA GAG is enclosed as Annexure-2 along with existing G.l. POSP training & certification SOP (Annexure-3). The state level escalation matrix for TAGIC Claims support is also enclosed as (Annexure-4).
5. In this regard, IPPB has also planned the motivational login drive Mission 100,000 Suraksha Ka Pehla Kadam till 30th June 22 (Annexure-5) to active more end users in the initial days for higher adoption of the product.
6. In view of above, Circles are requested to extend support for a successful campaign and to popularize the IPPB service in the Circle.
