Subject: Placing of advertisements of the vacancies on the National Career Service (NCS) portal.
Sir/Madam, I am directed to forward herewith a copy of 0 .0. letter No. V-11014/6/2015- . VG/NCS-Part dated 13.0l .2022, received from Ministry of Labour & Employment regarding . placing of advertisements of the vacancies on the National Career Service (NCS) portal developed by Ministry of Labour & Employment for information and taking necessary action .
I am writing to you regarding reporting of advertisements of the vacancies of your Ministry/Department on the National Career Service (NCS) portal (www.ncs.gov.in) of this Ministry which was dedicated to the nation by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 20th July, 2015.
2. The NCS Portal is designed to address the gaps in the employment market by strategic interventions and partnership with leading institutions and organizations. The NCS portal has presently about 1.34 crore active job-seekers registered across the country. The NCS Portal has a rich repository of career content of over 3600 occupations across 52 sectors and can be accessed by the employment exchange officers, counselors and other stakeholders.
3. The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) Vide OM dated 02/11/2016 (copy enclosed) had instructed all the Ministries/Departments to mandatorily post all advertisements of vacancies on the NCS Portal. However, it has been observed that many Ministries/Departments are not posting their vacancy advertisements on the NCS portal.
4. I shall be grateful if you kindly instruct the concerned officers of your Ministry/Department and also Attached/Subordinate offices to post all vacancy advertisements on the NCS portal.
