 Grant of incentive for “Excellence in academic achievements” in 10th   & 12th   Standard by the children of Postal employee for the year 20-21

Applications are invited for grant of incentive for Excellence in Academic Achievements in the 10   & 12   standard examination of March/April 2021  conducted by the recognized Boards for the  children  of  Postal  employees   excluding   GDS  (GDS  incentives   are  drawn  by  respective Regions), subject to the following conditions:-


2) Five awards will be awarded in each of the following groups purely on Merit i.e. on the basis of marks obtained in 10th   & 12th Standard examination, subject to the minimum percentage of marks shown against each group.

3) A common merit list for the entire circle will be drawn for each group showing the % of marks up to 2 decimals. The merit list will contain name of the students of all boards (State board, CBSE etc) subject to the minimum % fixed above. The students will be sanctioned

mentioned below:

1st - 6,000/-

2nd - 4,800/-

3rd - 4,200/-

4th - 3,600/-

5th - 3,000/-

4) If more than one student  obtains the same  percentage  of marks, all of them  would be considered for the award. The number of awards will be accordingly increased in such cases.


i)         The scheme is open only to the children of Postal Employees excluding GDS staff.

ii)        Applications of staff whose children have appeared for examination  outside the Circle will be considered by the circle in which they are working.

iii)       These awards are given separately for the 10   &s   12   Standard  examination  held by the recognized boards.

5) Applications  as  per  the enclosed  format  should  be submitted  through  proper  channel with attested  photo  copies  of  marks  card  on  or  before  9    December  2021.  The  Head  of  the Division/Office should  forward applications  to CO within a week  after the last date  prescribed. Before  forwarding  the  applications  the  Heads  of  the  Divisions/Office  should  ensure  that  all information  furnished  by  the  officials  are  correct  and  complete  in  all  respects  and necessary enclosures  are attached.  It may be ensured  that this circular  reaches all  the officials  working in Karnataka Postal Circle.  Sufficient number of circulars together with applications may be supplied by the concerned Divisions.
