Calling of Options/preferences in respect of Competitive Examination for recruitment to the cadre of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) for the vacancy years 2018, 2019 and 2020 held on 11-10-2020 Karnataka Circle

This is in continuation to this office Memos No. R&E/2-19/2018, 2019 & 2020/CON dated 11-12-2020.

2. Consequent upon the declaration of results vide above memos, few vacancies have remained unfilled for the vacancies of the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 in the cadre of MTS. As per the provisions in the Multi -Tasking Staff Recruitment Rules, 2018, the unfilled vacancies are to be offered to the surplus qualified candidates.

3. The vacancies remained unfilled for the year 2018, 2019 & 2020 which are to be offered to surplus qualified candidates, are furnished in Annexure-1, II and III year-wise for further verification and confirmation by 08-11-2021. The regions are requested to ensure that the unfilled vacancies are correctly shown and if there is any discrepancy, the same should be reported to this office immediately.

4. The tentative list of surplus qualified candidates for the vacancy years 2018, 2019 and 2020 are enclosed in the Annexure-IV and year-wise in Annexure V, VI and VII. The lists are tentative and subject to change depending upon the eligibility of a candidate, category, provisional candidature for the vacancy years 2018, 2019 and 2020. It is to intimate that the lists have been drawn in the ratio of 1:2 approximately to the extent of unfilled vacancies under each category.

Note: i) It may please be taken note that few reserved candidates have been shown in the list against UR vacancies. However, such reserved candidates have choice to give option or preferences against their reserved category. In case, the reserved category candidates opts to give preferences against their category, the candidates of that reserved category who are lower in merit may be excluded and in few cases, the other candidates may be included against UR vacancies.

ii) Since, the PWD reservation is horizontal reservation, the PWD candidates

will be allotted according to their nature of disability and adjusted to their respective category.

iii) If there is no vacancy in their category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), the vacancy against UR will be deducted in that particular division.

iv) Regions are also requested to provide the details of the candidates who have been permitted provisionally. CAT /Disciplinary contemplated against the GDSs may also be furnished.


5. It may be noted that the candidates will be allotted on the basis of their eligibility for each vacancy and their merit position in paper-l. However, PWD candidates will be allotted first irrespective of their merit. The tentative list of surplus qualified PH candidates for the vacancy years 2018, 2019 and 2020 are enclosed in Annexure-VIII.

6. In case of the candidates who have been declared successful in the PM/MG examination held on 10-01-2021 who have joined or will join the said post are to submit declination to the MTS post. A declination to be obtained from such of those candidates in the specimen form enclosed in Annexure-IX.

7. The Regions are requested to regularize the provisionally permitted candidates, if any, or otherwise, with reasons, to be furnished.

8. The Regions are also requested to forward the application forms of the candidates listed in Annexure-V, VI, VII and VIII positively on or before 08-11-2021.
