Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Aadhaar Linked Mobile number Updation by End users through CELC (Child Enrolment Lite Client) App
CELC (Child Enrolment Lite Client) is an android application developed by UIDAI. This application allows enrolment of Children below the age of 5 years and Updation of Mobile Number linked with Aadhaar.
To begin with Bank will be using only Mobile number Updation feature of the CELC application. This service is in great demand by public as currently Mobile Updation in Aadhaar involves cumbersome prior appointments and visit to Aadhaar Seva Kendra or other Authorized centers. Availability of Mobile number Updation through the wide network of Post Offices will bring the service within easy reach of public.
This will benefit all those who undertake an Aadhaar based transaction which needs OTP for authentication. This will enable a better customer satisfaction and increase overall faith in humble Dakia as harbinger of financial services in the neighborhood. This can be used as foot in the door strategy with customers with ultimate objective of converting those customers to IPPB Saving Bank Account holders.
