Facilities Available for GDS Staff

 1.     Leaves available for GDS Staff are- 

·         Emergency leave

·         Paid leave

·         Leave without allowance

·         Special casual leave

·         Maternity Leave

2. Emergency leaves – 

·         5 Days in calendar Year

·         Not more than 2 days at a time

·          w.e.f 01.01.2019

3. Paid Leave

·         20 Days in a year without accumulation

4. Maternity Leaves-

·         For Female GDS with less than 2 surviving children

·         180 days from the date of commencement

·         45 Days in case of miscarriage including abortion

5. Composite Allowance

·         Standard Accommodation- ₹ 500/-

·         Non Standard Accommodation- ₹ 250/-

      6. Cycle Maintenance Allowance    

·         To ABPM & Dak Sevaks Only

·         ₹ 180 per month

     7. Cash Conveyance Allowance

·         ₹ 30 per occasion + actual conveyance for amount less than One Lakh

·         ₹ 50 per occasion + actual conveyance for amount more than One Lakh

·         In Excess of Normal Line Limits Only

     8. Combined Duty Allowance

·         BPM for Delivery or Mail Conveyance work  ₹ 45 per Day, Maximum ₹1170 per month

·         BPM for Delivery + Mail Conveyance work  ₹ 90 per Day, Maximum ₹2340 per month

·         ABPM for BPM Work ₹ 75 per Day, Maximum ₹1950 per month

·         ABPM/Dak sevak  for additional work of another ABPM/Dak sevak ₹ 45 per Day, Maximum ₹1170 per month

     9. Risk and Hardship Allowance

·         ₹ 500 per month

   10. Fixed Stationary Charges

·         ₹ 25 Per Month

·         To ABPM & Dak Sevak Only

·         For BPM it is subsumed in Composite Allowance
